Metasite assists Bitė Latvija in launching the BITE Plus mobile internet portal

RIGA, September 16, 2005 – Bitė Latvija, a telecommunications operator serving the Latvian market, publicly unveiled the BITE Plus mobile internet portal, developed in close cooperation with Metasite Business Solutions during the Q3 2005.

The newly launched BITE Plus mobile internet portal offers a wide range of mobile value added entertainment, gaming and information services. Offering content in Latvian and Russian, the BITE Plus mobile internet portal is currently available to users of Bitė Latvija's TOXIC prepaid mobile service.

Metasite consultants and engineers based in Riga and Vilnius worked with Bitė Latvija to design and deliver a mobile portal that would become a seamlessly integrated part of Bitė Latvija's dynamically evolving portfolio of internet and mobile offerings.

"Production of the BITE Plus mobile internet portal proved to be a serious challenge primarily due to the compressed timeframe of the project," noted Mantė Mozūraitė, Head of Mobile Services and Internet Solutions at Metasite. "However, drawing on our extensive experience accumulated during the development of comparable mobile offerings for the Lithuanian market, the Metasite team managed to deliver the solution required by Bitė Latvija on time and within the allocated budget."

The delivery of the BITE Plus mobile internet portal extends the collaboration between Bitė Latvija and Metasite Business Solutions which started earlier this year.
