Metasite presented the findings of the 2005 Baltic E-Banking Report at a banking conference in Riga

VILNIUS-RIGA-TALLINN, October 25, 2005 - During the Banking and Finance in the Baltics 2005 conference in Riga, Metasite Business Solutions presented the key findings from the 2005 Baltic E-Banking Report, the third annual internet banking research study.

The annual e-banking research report analyzes the strengths and weaknesses in every Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian retail bank’s internet offerings, benchmarking every individual bank against its peers and comparing the 2005 testing results with those of 2004 and 2003, thus evaluating progress made by every retail bank.

While building on the experience of the 2003 and 2004 studies, this year's report is bigger, deeper and further improved in many ways:

• 40+ new criteria and 1500+ new data points have been added to the new report.
• The number of Baltic banks whose e-banking offerings have been scrutinized by our analysts has risen to 37.
• As banks seek differentiation and additional revenues by offering their customers non-bank services (i.e. insurance, leasing or securities trading) online, an entirely new section titled Extra Services has been added to the report to reflect the latest developments in this field.
• The methodology for evaluation of bank customer service responsiveness has been adjusted, now reflecting the banks' readiness to serve customers 24/7.
